I think this is a neat idea that can be used to present just about any collection of images. Done for a large print size many images could be included. Slides could be mixed in. Maybe even old prints with the scalloped edges. Family members and pets would be a natural for this technique. Names could be included on the bottoms of the polaroids.

This is probably grammar school for you guys, but I did this by creating a new layer with a transparent background. Next I selected a large rectangle and filled it with white, then a square inside that and filled it with black. Then added a drop shadow around the whole thing. Thus my pseudo polaroid master.

For each flower image I duplicated the master layer, selected the black square and copied and pasted the flower into that. It's easier to do the copying while the master is still vertical.

Once all the flowers were copied, I went to each layer and moved the polaroids around into this arrangement. Pretty easy.

So here's a polariod bouquet wishing you a great weekend!

Hi Reid,

I'm going to try this... it sounds like a great exercise in later manipulation.

This is a really nice image, and the individual flower shots are all excellent in their own right too.

Thank you!

Nigel

Reid
This a stunning example of your growing skills. You are having a good time with this stuff. The flowers that you selected are beautifully captured. VERY, VERY well done.
Additionally thanks for the great notes.

Oh yes, and thanks for the comments on the yellow glider.

A superb idea, Reid. I like the bright colours of your captures and the tones you've chosen for your BG. The square crop of the originals fits in perfectly here

Hi Reid

Good use of the principle of 3 in this trio of colourful blooms, with marvellous dof & sharpness. Each image compliments the others. Tfs!
