I was looking through my images the other night of Arizona and came across this, ok so it's nothing special, but what I loved about this and had'nt noticed in previous viewings of the image, was the strange looking cloud, top left of the frame, it kind of reminds me of an octopus. Anyway after doing the usually pp work I decided I really liked the colours ein this so decided to share it with you guys!

PP resized, levels boosted r,g, & b seperately, saturation + 8, resharpened and border/title added.

Thanks for looking everyone.

BTW, I remember on the day looking at this scene and thinking I wish their had'nt been so many tourists, to combat that I decided to go with a meter reading straight from the bright road in front of me, thus putting the tourists in the dark under the canopys. To me it was the lesser of 2 evils.

Hello Dean.
Really interesting western picture. I like the colors and your POV. Great light and you are right about this cloud, looks strange.

very interesting photo... the colors are rich and beautiful... although there are little details of the street, the pov, the perspective makes-up for it... the way you framed your pic is nicely done also, a plus! tfs

Hi Dean

Great capture here, nice POV with the roadway leading into the image. Fab colours and a wonderful blue sky. I think the cloud looks like the ghost of a running horse (fat and mangled one though) I am sure your going to get lots of messages on what people can see in that cloud.

TFS hope your having a good weekend

regards Helen

Hi Dean,
The only thing missing in this scene is John Wayne, filling the villains full of lead.
Great perspective, colours and exposure.
Thanks for your input on the "Lunatic Fringe", what a farce!
Good on you.
Kind regards,
Peter.

Great DOF Dean! Classic composition.TFS. Allan

Hi Dean,

Yeah, wonderfully saturated colours!! Very nice. I would have perhaps used a distortion tool to pull the buildings back just a bit. Especially to the edges it feels like the buildings are falling into the picture. Just a little pull on the top left and right with the transformation - distortion. But it's certainly good as it is as well!!

Greetings,
Dennis

Hi there!
A great capture!
Love your composition, it really looks like it could be a shot of a town a hundred years ago! Lovely bright colours and sharp details too!
Well done!
PS - that cloud DOES look a bit odd...

Hi Dean, this is a very nice western image, just as if I was watching a movie.

Good symetrical composition and great colours.
Good control of light.

Take care, Yan :)

I think tourists SHOULD be put under dark canopies! HAHAHA! You can't eat them, so what good are they? HA! Nice shot, just like the westerns on TV! B-)
