while on the world tour golf course with my Husband and family we were waiting for our turn at the tee box when we see this creature coming across the fairway. to me it looked like a monkey! Strange looking thing as it moved for sure! Never seen one before so I took lots of shots and he for sure wasn't afraid of me! But I kept my distance anyway..:o)
(later fed him some of my crackers...:o)
But when I got back to my brothers I looked him up on the internet and low and behold , hes a fox squirrel. Hmmm what do they DO in the woods these days? :o)
Cute little guy regardless...:o)

I'm off to Vermont tomorrow then to return Late Monday night and now I find that I'll be picking my sailorguy up at the dock Early Tuesday morning for a short visit...:o) So I'll see you all on Wednesday! :o)

He's a cute little creatures. Nice focus. The cropping seems a little off, though. I would make the image either longer stretching down or wider stretching to the right, but that's just the way I'm using to composing images. I really love how his reflection seems to be running up to greet him.

Hi Donna,

Interesting to know that you also bring camera while playing golf . . Yes, I do but pocket camera, just in case get the similar event . . I met several times at the golf courses are snake, small crocodile, but not this one. .

Very well captured, very sharp and you did great capturing this action at the right moment with the tail balancing his body . . Excellent reflection too . .

Tfs,
Tjutjut

Hi Donna,
What a unique surprise on the golf course! He posed nicely for you, and I like the crop. The squirrel and his reflection make strong diagonals across the frame, and the ripples make the composition. I'd think it's a little oversaturated, but the grass is always greener on the golf course, so I'm probably wrong!
TFS,
Karen

Aww he is really cute! He seems curious about his reflection. Nice POV. I like your frame. TFS

C'est un superbe instant que vous avez capté ici Je n'ai jamais eu l'occasion de voir cet animal, mais j'aime beaucoup sa position et la réflection dans l'eau.
