[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On the beach at Tybee Island, this helicopter flew past us. These five images are combined using the gradient tool - foreground to transparent in Elements 5. I need a lot more practice at it. :-) It's surprising how much the sky changed between each image. It's hard to make that part look natural.

Hope you enjoy!
Reid

Hi Reid

I thought this was a helicopter formation flying team. Excellent work you have made a really good job of this.

TFS regards Helen

An-nyong haseyo Reid

Good choice of a wide angled panoramic format, with excellent color & sharpness. I like the warm vs cold color contrast of red & blue. Tfs!

Excellent shot, dear Reid.

Beautifully managed, well done.
Salutes.

If you change of frame, change the zooming, the ammount of light change :) I notice often that detail me too.
Good assemblage! Like a mechanic dance in line!

MERHABA myfriend Reid;
beautiful picture, super captured..selam

Looks excellent to me Reid - love all those red helicopters together. Did manage to catch a few myself in Norway, where they need a lot of helicopters for transport and rescue missions.

I think you have done pretty well at :mending" the cloud problem Reid - I thought you had a group of them until I read your notes. You sly devil. Seriously I would say you accomplished your task!

Bravo

Hi Ried,
To combine such small elements into one photo is always a very difficult job. It is that you mentioned the merge, because the sky looks pretty natural to me. I like the idea a lot, its a photo that also tells a short story.
TFS,
Niek

Very funny picture ! It is not normal to see those machines that close to each other.

I think you needed 1 sky image and should have put those choppers onto that sky. Than it looks more natural, but I do like this photo too.
Nice colors and sharpness.
greetings,
Joop!

WOW! Is this Life Flight?? Ours here in Texas are red and so whenever I see one go by, I know it's critical. Very nice sharpness here!
