Doppelgänger is suppose to be an identical evil twin, but I got carried away and sextuplets. I wanted to show more of different probabilities & the possibilities of parallel universes. Even the path not taken can mean different ways to take the same path.

while out of town on business, I shot the figures near sunset then waited till dark to get the overall exposure. I had planned to do some more with multible flashes in this shot, but I got a call from a friend saying my wife had been taken to the emergency room after being kicked in the face by a horse. Luckily, she is doing well and just suffered a broken nose and black eye. It could have been much worse!

Nice composition! The colors are great!
Well Done!

Hazta la Vista!

This can only be you - Chuck - I love your creative works - playing with persons or faces, fantastic.
This one is a littly mystic - and wonderful. I had to laugh because of the word "doppleganger". In German we say Doppelgänger - could it be that you stole the word ;-) Haha!
Thanks and greetings

Hi Chuck,
Great artwork. There is a rebel one! I don't think I would like to live in that world, one of me just give enough trouble :)
I like the light treatment with the beams spoting each twin, but what really pulls my eyes is that beautiful world behind the soft clouds like a dream.
Friendly,
Aida

Mmm... sextuplets... I'm still looking for #6, Chuck.
Nice idea and, again, very creative. And, also again, with terrific light in the picture. If photography is about capturing light, you know the trade ;o).

Wish your wife a speedy recovery from me!

Hi Chuck, excelent art-work, once again an exceptional ambience of sci-fi. Congrats!

When my Dad was eleven a horse kicked him in the face and knocked out 75% of his teeth, now he has to get his teeth replaced every few years. Atleast they don't look like fake teeth! :) So yes, your wife is lucky, and I hope she gets better soon. :)

But your image! Wow. SO much work, but definately worth it, the outcome is brilliant. The exposures you got here are especially engaging. Where did you get that image of the globe... internet? Yeah this is definately one of those 'great' shots. I'm not even gonna' bother commenting further, it's not n. Thanks Chuck... I like your work.

Biance.

Hello Chuck,

Beautiful photo here.
Again great PP done.

Chuck a lovely shot.
Nice bright light, good perspective and sharp.
A Sci Fi effect! May I be a 'smart a** ' and help you with that word : doppleganger?
Wel its German and should be written as; (der) Doppelgänger
but I do not know the Chinese translation. :-)
TFS.

Hi Chuck
Where from do you take these ideas?
Perfect realization
Congr,
Alina

As always a very creative approach and very well executed. I like the idea of being able to capture glimpses into parallel universes.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

p.s. best wishes to your good lady - hope she recovers quickly.

Parallel universe: I see them as filmstrips of all possible paths laid side by side into infinity. To have the power to change paths at will, retrace paths, would be quite something, trips you can take in your imagination, and perhaps illustrate a glimpse thereof in pictures such as these. Bending time-space continuum, quantum mechanics etc all come into play. Endless possibilities.
Now back to earth: hope your wife is really OK - I can just see how devastating such an injury could be. While something like that can only improve the rugged handsomeness of us males, it's quite different for a female.
Cheers
Otto

This would be a totally awesome poster for any one of a number of Sci-Fi books or shows!
superb work!
I love the little circle of light that each one appears in -- each one therefore seeming to be in his own universe while sharing that of the others.
Great stuff!

Hi Chuck,

I'm very new to digital photography and my workshop consists of basic sharpening, contrast, and the basics. I am absolutely amazed at all of your creativity in your photos! I especially love this one as I "think outside of the box", "take the road less traveled" and just an adventurous soul!

This just "says it" for me! Well done!
lisa

Hope you wife is riding happily again!! :D

This is another PP masterpiece! Very good concept and execution Chuck. TFS

Hi Chuck,
Another interesting product of your musings merged with your talent . . . thanks for always making us think as well.
Coincidentally, I just found out that my 22 year old son faces surgery on Friday after having his nose broken by a 300-pound opponent in basketball. I'm sure your wife's opponent weighed much more.
Take care,
Karen
