[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At the request of Oggie aka Shogun I will post another long exposure. This is another shot from Furlong Gulch but taken on a different day then all of the others.
The light was much harder to manage this time around so I'm not 100% pleased with this shot, but I thought I'd post it anyway and see what you think.
I will be off for a few days to see some music in Monterey. See ya on Tuesday.

Crisp, colourful with foreground and background interest. TFS. K2

Hi Mike,

I love this shot, tripod slow shutter speed and the Tokina 12-24, what more could you want. Have a look at epaperpress.com for a brilliant little plugin called pt lens it corrects wide angle barrel and pincushion distortion and will work for any lens you have got.

Excellent purple tones! I love the somberness and the detail in each rock. Great POV and fantastic rocky silhouettes!
well done,
Shelby

Hi Mike,
May have been tough light but you've managed it well. Love the colors and teh tones. Very well done!

Well done Mike :-)

Best regards, Daniel

Beautiful work! Lovely light, saturation, detail and composition. The small aperture has allowed an excellent depth of field.
Great shot

Hi Mike,

unlike you I am satisfied with this shot lol. I love the tonal and colour gradient on the sky, a pink-yellow cast on the water comig from setting sun. Silky water stays in excellent contrast with hard, dark and sharp rocks. This is what mkakes this photo imo. A beauty! tfs
