HI Jessica,
Interesting viewpoint and composition and potentially a good shot. It needs teh steps to be level to improve it though, and ideally the tops of the lamp posts at the top of the steps would be in the shot too. Nice idea though.

Hi Jessica. There is maybe an idea of a decent shot here, but there are a few problems...

Firstly, the image is sruint, it needs to be rotated clockwise a little.

Secondly, the lamps at the top of the shot have been cut off, it would be better to show them fully.

Thirdly, the red numbers bottom left - turn that function off in your camera if possible.

Finally, I think you needed to stand a little to your left to get a straight-on and more symmetrical shot.

Oh, one last thing - a black and white conversion may have worked well here.
