[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lines of stubble mark the cutting and harvesting of the crop here in the town of El Dorado. A small community, I suspect its "gold" is the corn grown here. This is a vintage scene for this time of year.

PP included The Gimp's Smart Redux sharpening, a rotation correction, and a final USM after sizing.

Good evening Jim
Very nice capture. I love the pattern of that harvested corn field and the diagonal lines that lead the eye to the left. Original barn in the decor.
Great picture

Hi Jim,
I like much the design of these harvested fields. You captured a good light on the corn. We can recognize the pride of the well done work by the farmer here. Very well seen and done. Bravo! Annie

Great work with light, shadows and patterns. I love the creative license we have here on TL. Very well done Jim.

Perfect shot of a tipical Farm in the US, the way we see it.
Remembers me of that film: Whitness, with Kelly Mc Gillies

Hi JIm. Lovely diagonals and repetitions with the corn stalks. Well composed and good colour and detail. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Freaky Pink Friday’...probably a bit too close hence the softness on that end.

Hi Jim, I like this. The patterns and textures stand out so well with the sun hitting the stalks - gosh, they're planted close together... It's a well set out composition - bravo!
