[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Aviation Machinist Mate watches from inside an S-3B Viking as an SH-46 Sea King flys away after delivering supplies as part of a vertical replentishment (VERTREP) on the flight deck of USS Enterprise (CVN 65).
She was very helpful in allowing me to get this picture. I didn't have much room, to work with. I shot three pictures and I'm not allowed to show inside the plane's control panel, so I exposed for the outside to darken the panel.
I wanted to get movement of the helo's blades, I used the seat as a tripod if you will. It was so noisy and windy outside and I 'd figured this would make a better shot.

Check out the Workshop its the original photo.

PS7 work I made an adjustment layer for the bw tones

and the frame.

I hope you like the different point of view I have brought to TL.

Have a great weekend to all!

A great thing to be in such place, and to be able to take a photo. Congratulations for this. The composition is perfect, with the tower, helicopters and the woman. Good work.

Great military shot. It's very interesting to have a look from the pilot's point of view, this makes me a participant of things that going on, which is the goal of a photojournalism, i think. Great job.

Salut !

Hi Riz,
This is an awsome picture, partly because I will never be able to capture one like this. The composition shows the high energy activity that takes place on a carrier deck. Controlled madness! Well done and thanks for sharing.

Very nice composition and good b&w shot. Bravo.

Steph.
