Shared Thoughts of Sisters

Gateway Mountain Park
Poudre River Canyon
West of Fort Collins Colorado

“I do not believe that the accident of birth makes people sisters and brothers. It makes them siblings. Gives them mutuality of parentage. Sisterhood and brotherhood are conditions people have to work at. It's a serious matter. You compromise, you give, you take, you stand firm, and you're relentless...And it is an investment."
~ Maya Angelou

You wonder about the moments they share .. the moments they will share .. and hope they will always have each other.

hello John,
a lovely reflective moment and note. Actually, I have come over all emotional as I have a sister I love dearly (she is the nicest person in the whole wide world). But back to your picture,I like the way the branches of the tree reach out like protective arms to shelter them from the world. There is a nice play of sunlight and shadow too.
best regards
bev

A very lovely scene John, the two kids-sisters framed with the boles in superb illuminated place.
I look again to it and I see the superb natural frame around the two sisters.
Have a nice time.
Evan

Hi John: This is a great composition here,I really do enjoy it very much because the natural frame is exceptional. The tree trunks at iether side and the branches reaching over the girls heads almost looks like a stage they are on.. the mood is so serene as well with wonderful backlight and details in the shadows..... excellent John .....I love this one..........thanks Roman:0)

Hi John,
A precious capture, and meaningful ponderings. I like how the girls are "bookended" by the two large trees, in their storybook setting.
My husband and I have four kids, and we have been thankful to see that they are the best of friends as well. I always joked that I would rather have them be close to each other and gang up against us than to bicker between themselves. Seems to have worked! : )
A wonderful shot,
Karen

Bonjour John
Bonne gestion de la lumière pour cette jolie prise de vue.
Bonne journée.
Amicalement
