Good colors and a nice setting.
Perhaps too many branches in the upper half of the picture, you migth have found a better POV?

Hi Angela,

A nice looking image with good colours. But it looks like something went wrong in post processing. It is full of "jaggies" just look closely at the ripples in the water or the tree. The file size looks ok with 145 kB. So what could have happened is that you first saved it with very high compression, and then saved it again with a lower compression.

Hi Angela and welcome to TL. There are some quite good imaging programs free to download including the one that Edith used for the workshop. The image itself is lovely with good colour and detail. I would have loved to have seen this in the maximum size available on TL, that is 600x800. TFS,

Hello Angela !

Good points on this image ! And some needing a few corrections.

I like the POV , and composition with the tree framing naturally the scene. The colors are natural too.

But I believe here you did sharpen your image a bit too much creating those white dots and marks.

I would recommend you resize your image first to the maximum size and then save it, by compressing it to reach the maximum file size of 200k. Photofiltre is very cool and easy to use for that ( See my intro page ) to download the free program.

Hi Angela, the colors here are very pretty as is the view. The tree in the foreground looks nice...amazing depth in keeping everything in focus from foreground to background. A tad over sharpened for my taste but still very attractive. Nice shooting.

This is a very idyllic scenenery here, indeed! I like all these warm colours and the broken reflections in the water.
I am not so sure with the tree in the foreground because it draws very much attention from the 'depth'.
