[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little girl savors a slice of pumpkin pie at a church feast last week. I was struck by how totally absorbed she was in the moment, which is why we're zoomed in close to tell the story.

PP was sharpening (USM), cropping, resizing, adding the frame, and a second, milder pass of USM -- all in The Gimp. I obtained the bevel and text color by using the color picker tool on the pie.

HA! The look on her face says she isn't quite sure about it! HA! That is how I feel about it....not sure...I would eat the whipped cream and leave the pie! HA!
Nice shot Jim!

I must tell you I am a HUGE FAN of pumpkin pie so I can definitely relate~ :) Such a beautiful little girl!! This picture would make a great advertisement. TFS and all the very best in 2008.

Hi Jim,
What a dainty young lady! And yes, the moment is precious. While I'm sure her eyes would not disappoint, her long lashes are gracefully brushing her cheeks.
Happy 2008,
Karen
