I was trying to figure out why I wasn't able to focus my camera in close-up mode and went outside on my front porch, in the rain, to take a shot at this Azalea bush. I finally figured out I hadn't been pushing one extra button after selecting closeup mode, so it was just reverting back to auto, and in these closeup shots, it wouldn't focus. Maybe one should actually READ the manuel that comes with ones camera??
Awww....wheres the fun in that??

Lori a beautiful capture. I like the colours, lighting, composition and framing. The raindrops on the flowers just add to the beauty.

Ooh, pretty closeup work, Lori. The hues are nice and I love the waterdrops.

Great shot, Lori. The colors and details are just wonderful. And the frame is lovely as well. Nice job!

What beautiful flowers with raindrops on them, such a lovely shade of pink. I think azaleas are one of the most beautiful flower in all their glorious colours. You have certainly found the correct way to focus in closeup now.
I am not particularly fond of the pink frame, but would prefer a very dark green, but that is a personal preference. Very nice composition.

I like the composition and the drops of rain add an additional enchantment to so beautiful flowers, good shot. They are really seen very fresh. Greetings

Read the manual? What a novel idea. ;) I had the same problem with my camera with focusing. I finally figured it out and am doing much better. Makes a world of difference. Beautiful picture. I always liked what drops of water do to most anything you photograph. This one is clear and sharp, good color and frame too.
