I've been slacking on posting shots on TL due to an annoying cold. So here I am trying to make up for some lost time. This is another shot from Sugarloaf Ridge State Park that I took late last year. I've been waiting for a good place to use my new, and very portable, gorilla pod. Sonoma creek was a good proving ground. The camera lens was just about an inch above the flowing water in this shot.

Oh my is this stunning - the colors are really vivid in the water fall and the moss on the rocks. The little water fall on the right is neat. Personally I like the out of focus FG but maybe a bit less of it. maybe crop off 2/3rds of the creek bed.
Hay glad you're feeling better, it is Sunday - the 10 day rule.

Dad

Great shot - Lovely pov and the long exposure is nice on the fall. Did you take any with a shorter exposure? I'd love to see a bit more clarity with the stones. Rgds, Leilani

Hello Mike, so lovely and peaceful, very good composition and great low point of view, very nice sharpness and depth of field, pretty colors, the green is so beautiful, excellent exposure.
Angela

Excellent shot Mike,
Glad to see you back!
It's been a while huh?
Love the low POV here and
the milky water pouring down.

great comp and POV

Hi Mike,
I really like this shot for so many reasons. The foreground, with the mild distortion of the lens and unsharpness of the rocks due partially to the flow of the water moves your eye right up the creek to the beautiful smooth flowing waterfall. The crisp green of the surrounding elements sets it off perfectly.
Great Shot.
U Rick

Hello Mike!
Nice photo, your composition are very good, i like the out of focus in the beginning and the texture of water!
Well Done!

Hello Mike:)
Definitely great picture - long time expo and these lens made it great work... and of course you as brain for this operation.
First plan look unusual... I mean it makes real illusion of water movement - super nice effect:)
Best Regards - Tom

Fantastic photo. The horizon line is a little centered for my taste, but it seems to work fairly well here. Nice movement! Excelent.

Hello Mike,

Nice contrasts between the flowing water and the focused moss . . . wonderful places in the forests of the Bay Area.

in boca a lupo!
