[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a repost of a shot I took last October. My first stab at processing the RAW image left me feeling unsatisfied. I decided to give it a go with Nikon Capture NX this time around. The main adjustments I made were:
-Changed WB from Cloudy to Sunlight
-Lightened the hillside on the top right and the "bowling balls" to reduce the darkness caused by ND grad
-Darkened the left horizon a bit

What I didn't do this time was adjust the saturation, but the colors still seem pretty rich. The sunset was spectacular so I don't think this is really too far off from what I saw.

I probably should have adjusted the blue in the top right corner to correct for the ND grad, but I left it alone.

Anyhow, let me know what you think.

Hello Mike,
Good shot with beautiful reflection. Good details of rugged coastline against a good sky.

Jusni

Beautiful scene and colors, and the reflection in the water is crystal clear. The perspective draws the eye right into the image, and along the way there are visual delights everywhere. Excellent!

Hi Mike
You are developing a real skill with NX. Very nice reflection and I particularly like the texture of the cliff walls - I guess this another feet in the water shots. This is a pleasure to critique!
