Night view looking down the tracks towards the Port of Oakland shipping yard. I have a few from this series I took a few weeks ago at this location. It was a great night of shooting, however in this setup, all the shots got captured at ISO 1600 - I guess I hit the ISO button by accident :(

The Port of Oakland was the first major port on the Pacific Coast of the United States to build terminals for container ships. It is now the fourth busiest container port in the United States.

Man, I really like the Star effect on these lights! I have tried without any luck to get this type off effect ....I guess I need to really change my ISO to 1600...... It works!

Chuckle...I've been there, too, but didn't quite dare stand in the middle of the tracks! The night shot was a good idea, giving this a sense of mood that just isn't the same in daylight. I'm really enjoying your tour of the SF/EB area on TL:)

Bravo Vincent!
rare view to see that kind of perfect sharpen nocturnal pic!!!

Hello Vincent,

You have beautifully presented a nocturanl mood in an exciting luminosity. Fine details and night lights are looking fantastic in this view. An excellent image my friend, well done.

Thanks for sharing this shot.

Great thirds composition here Vincent !
Lowlight exposure looks well managed. The rail lines further add some quality with a lovely sense of depth/perspective.

Best regards, Daniel
