[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was from my backyard in a summer night last year. I like the way that the moon is over the subject.

Juan,

I saw this in the incritiqued bin and thought it was definitely worth a look.

I like the shot quite a bit, but I'm not sure about the moon. I understand what you were going for and I probably would have looked into the same composition as well as a few without the moon in the frame. I keep waffling on whether I like the moon or not. I think I mostly prefer it without. I think it's just too bright and distracting.

That said, without the moon, the photo takes on a much more serious tone and really needs someone playing to add interest. How cool would it have been to have someone dunking or practicing three pointers on the outside of the light? Talk about dedication! But, you were at the mercy of your environment, i guess.

All in all, a great shot. With someone in the photo I could easily see this in a sporting company's advertisement.

Thanks for posting,
skot
