| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| There are a few places still, not far from us in Wisconsin, where the tallest edifices were not raised by human hands. They show off vividly against the near Arctic chill of a January sky, even if the only vistas in front of them are dusky glimpses of last year's corn stubble still peeking upward through the snow. This is handheld, BTW -- no messing with tripods on a day when the high temperature is 5°F :) |

Hi Jim,
Excellent capture of this winter day's end! I recognize these subtle colors on the sky when the red, yellow and blue colors are lightly mixed. I like the trees in backlit, their dark branches enhancing the pastel colors on the sky. Very nicely done! Annie
Wow Jim...Maybe a while back...20 years or more..but you would not catch me out in that cold with a tripod...:-) Course I would have been working with film and my low light work needed black and white...not quite the same...Very nice..and glad to see you ...
Bob
Go Cheeseheads...although I am no longer a watcher..
Great photo
Makes me wonder how the warmth behind the trees feel
