Just an adorable little guy from my Niagara Falls trip, a fat little jolly fellow who wanted food from me, so he agreed to pose. The title comes from a well known commercial for a candy bar here in America. The saying goes, "Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don't!"
By the way, I ALWAYS feel like a nut! Hope you enjoy today's post! It's cold here, rainy blecchh!! SO I will wait for all of your posts to brighten my day!
I am so grateful for all of you!
Linda

Very interesting POV , Linda. I love how sharp and clear his eye and face is. Just pops right off the screen. I am a big fan of these furry little guys and their antics to get and store food. I like the little highlight of light on the top of his ear, showing of the fine little hairs. Well done.
Warm Regards
Wanda

Well we do not always deal with two gorgeous subjects: The photo subject and its photographer.

Hi Nuttie,

So he's family? Good sharpness on the eye which shinging so wonderful. I think the shallow DOF works fine here. A nice posting my dear Nuttie.

Big hug from the Big Green Nut :-)

Wow Lynda great close-up portrait with fine details. I just love to see the large reflection off the eye. They are really cute. In my area we get mostly all black squirrels.

Hi Linda! This is a super shot. Well focused and well framed. There are a lot of these little rascals in the woods and bushes around Niagara. I tried shooting some but they're just so fast! Next time, I'll bring some nibblets for them so the would pose for me :)
TFS,
Freddie :)

Excellent capture.
Excellent sharpness, composition and details.
Hope you DID give him a nut :-).

Hi Linda,

I like it, but to me it's lot too shallow... It's maybe not even the shallowness, but more that it feels like it is partly lower on saturation. Still a good catch!! :-)

Greetings! Dennis
