Hello Kylie,
I'm not sure what to think about your first post, but it looked sufficiently interesting for me to click on the thumbnail...
To me, there is a surrealistic potential in your photo. One wonders what they are doing there. Having a roadside overlook, okay. But we don't see the road. Not that this is necessary (we can guess the road), but it could have helped to make the photo more consistent.
Another point: in my opinion, you should have given the persons more space. Now, you're too close to them and/or the crop is too tight to make us "feel" the "overlook", to establish a relationship between these persons and the area/space around. Moreover, it is a pity that their faces are in the shadow and, thus, not really visible. The half-cut person on the foreground is superfluous and detracting, I think. Her photo camara is visible as well, which is the kind of details that can diminish the impact of a "concept photo" like this one. At last, I think there is a slight horizon tilt, though the persons on the foreground seem straight (mystery...).
To put it briefly: you have interesting elements for a strong concept photo, but composition should be more minimalistic in order to give a greater impact to the mood you want to convey. I'd encourage you to go back to that place with the same people and to try several new shots. And don't forget to post them on TrekLens ;o).
Just my personal opinion, of course. Feel free to (dis)agree ;o).
TFS & kind regards!
Erik

Hi Kylie, welcome to TL
Like Erik I was also sufficiently interested to have a look at this shot mainly to find out what was going on - unfortunately I still don't know.
A small note will help.
The lighting in the shot is very good and its an interesting first post.
keep shooting
Jack
Hi Kylie, welcome to TL!
I agree with the other critiques here, the lighting is good and it's potentially an interesting shot. A note is always useful, even just a few lines!
Cheers, and please post more photos,
John.
