I could not find anyone around who could tell me what I was photographing. Chazy is rather small but extended into West Chazy and Chazy landing. This photo looks like it might be their water works as the building which was hidden by trees seemed to have a bit of wheel showing.
Chazy is a town in Clinton County, in the Plattsburgh metro area.
The community was named for Lt. de Chézy, who was killed near here in a 1666 raid by the Iroquois.
The latitude of Chazy is 44.889N. The longitude is -73.436W.
It is in the Eastern Standard time zone. Elevation is 190 feet.
The population, at the time of the 2000 census, was 4,181. |

I just adore this kind of image, Dot. You have made an excellent choice of the speed, to make the water perfect. I like the way the leaves make a natural frame with the light playing on the water. Nice contrasts and colour. Well done.
