[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Found myself with the day off today so I headed up to a spot I'd been wanting to shoot for a while now. I was hoping the fog would not blanket the area as it normally does and that I would get some nice clouds with sunrise colors. It was not to be, but the fog did play a nice part, adding a little mood to the the oaks that sprinkled the view in front of me. I didn't have a tripod with me so I hoped and prayed the VR feature on my Nikkor lens would save my bacon. Considering everything, it did okay.

This is stunningly beautiful, colours, composition, almost sureal. Congratulations on a great photo.

Wow. Well seen and well captured. TFS

It's great to see you taking on other subjects Mike,
I love your Coastal work, but you have a great sense of design for a shot, and this shows it.

Great compposotion. I may have adjusted the levels to make the contrast pop a little bit more, but other than that it seems perfect.

Great job.

This scene is so real and natural, capturing the foggy look of the landscape as a delight rather than a disappointment. Love the squiggly arms of the featured oak, and the mustard blossoms brighten up the foreground to challenge the foggy mood. Superb!

WOW the mustard is in full bloom in wine country- the fog and the tree reall are cools elements in this image.
Like the tight focus/DOF,

Dad

Mike,
I really like the combination of the clear mustard in the foreground and the fog in the background with just the right amount of contrast on the tree.
Very nice image.
U Rick

I really like this shot Mike! The Fog is so nice, the tree is expressive and intense! Really pleasing to the eye! Excellent!
