[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve can be a magical place, brimming with giant coastal redwoods, lush green foilage, and miles of hiking trails. It's no surprise Armstrong is one of the Northbay's most popular parks.

Unfortunately, due to budget issues our Governor is threatening to close (terminate?) 48 state parks and reserves across California by this summer. If this happens many would be visitors will be denied the opportunity to enjoy these jewels of nature.

If you are interested in joining the fight to save California's parks or just want to tell Arnold how you feel please click here.

Looks like a beautiful forest indeed. It seems very peaceful. Thanks for sharing, gorgeous photo.

The first thing that catches my eye is the color of the water. Minerals I guess. Nice DOF, clarity in the vegetation. The old log is a nice addition.
