Pedestrian walking & cycling bridge in Stowe Vt
I snapped this from the car with my point and shoot.
It is no longer than the length of a van.

I tried to find more info and all I got was a long document for another bridge named Emily’s bridge, which is supposed to be haunted, cars are shaken and scratched, camera’s are turned on and off automatically, new batteries are drained and orbs or dust particles in the air that reflect light into the camera lenses cause tiny luminous globes that are unseen until inspection of the photograph. Away from the bridge the cameras functioned normally.

Just the type of stuff a newbie to photography would need. :-))
The legend is that Emily hung herself 150 years ago when her lover did not show up.

Hello Dot...
your notes are a heart breaker! Emily must have been very upset! Yikes....

Very nice photo.. I only wish we would remove the dirty snow once its no longer nice and new! I really like the warm light you captured... and just a the tad of blue sky

Tricia

I really love these little covered bridges, which we don't have in my area. This is an excellent picture! I feel very peaceful when I look at it. TFS

good photo shot while moving, it is indeed quite a small bridge, I find interesting as to why it is there?

Bonjour Dot,
Bravo! Anie

Salut Dot,

Superbes détails et couleurs.
Félicitations.

Hi Dot...
Lovely little covered bridges - nice shot...
Great, like art photo... Wonderful composition, colors and story...
Well done.
Best regards,
George

Hello Dot.I took some time browsing your fabulous collection of pictures. You are very skillful on composing shots and versatile in the variation of subjects captured.

Nice shot of this bridge which is not as spooky as Emily's bridge, I hope. You have anchored the subject very well here under well managed light and shadow. The road is well aligned giving a good depth to the shot. The leafless tree on the snow covered ground balances well with the traffic on the left. The woods in the backdrop makes good slanting horizon contrasting well against the rather handsome winter sky. I like this composition and have a very nice day ahead. Regards, Jusni.

Very cut and small covered bridge indeed. Vermont is a place in my whishlist I want to visit some day.

Nice tones. Take care, Yan :)

Hi Dot I wonder if her lover was a photographer similar to Clint in Bridges of Madison County?Pretty good timing for a car shot, great angle for capturing the bridge.

Hello Dot,
I'm fascinated by covered bridges!
Except from NE US and SE Canada I have only heard of a few in Germany...
This one is special since the narrow width limits the use!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Bonjour Dot
Merveilleux ce petit pont couvert (pour les amoureux peut-être?....
heureux que la légende d'Emily n'a pas eu d'effet sur l'appareil). Il est
rare qu'un pont soit couvert pour les piétons seulement. Belle prise au
"look" naturel. Le cadre ajouté est très bien réussi. Merci pour la note
également.

Paul

What a wonderful little bridge. Very well done with a point and shoot from the car..
