[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Early morning last Monday at Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve in Guernville, California. It's really challenging to shoot the actual redwoods at the park so I focused more heavily on the creek that runs through the park and the lush ferns that blanket the landscape.

This park is one of 48 state parks that are scheduled to be closed this summer due to state budget issues. Many grassroot organizations are fighting to save the parks from this fate.

Hello Mike
What a refreshing photo to stop and admire
After a harsh winter this is a welcome sight.
Its well composed and I love how the little brook leads us into deeper forest.
Nice work
Dot

Mike
I did a mental crop cutting off the FG plant and I think I like it better. The s shape of the creek becomes a stronger focal point. The moss covered trees are really impressive is the lighting you have captured.
