Hi Tom,
Fantastic scene with nice vibrant reds contrasting the sun drenched snow. It looks very much like the bridge from the movie Beteljuice.. is it in fact? Fantastic shot!

I am a fan of these wonderful coverd bridge .Your picture shows one of the common style and color also found here around the province of Quebec. You ought to come over here to admire the 2 longest ones in Quebec near Mt-Laurier in the High Laurentians(3 hrs north of Montreal) .Once you have driven across the first one you come out in the open for a few meters only to enter the second bridge , both are of equal length i recall ,a delightful sight and exilarating experience on a gorgeous day !
TFS this one Tom ,it is well presented though the tree blocks the view a little but nevertheless a very fine image ,Bravo,
Carol

Hi Tom
Two well captured reds in a row. Covered bridges are wonderful links to the past. This is beautiful in the snow. Nicely framed by the FG tree.
The shadows under the FG tree look blue on my monitor, Mmmmmm.

Hello Tom,
good to see you on TL,a belated welcome.
A lovely view of this covered bridge.Very good POV.The composition is excellent.
What I really like too,is that shadow of the tree in the fg,it reminds me of a blown ink pattern like the children did at school!
Tfs, regards Jean.

hello Tom,

Wonderful composition!
Off-centre tree with the terrific shadows, leading to the bridge with excellent perspective! I do like this!

kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Tom,
Excellent point of view (behind the tree) of this covered bridge.
I like so much these constructions. There isn't in France.
Very beautiful colors and light.
TFS.
Friendly,
Stephane.

Hello Tom
Very nice shot. I love covered bridges and I have photographed all of them in Québec, that is 106 at that time. The composition is perfect with that mature tree. I love the green color of the roof which is unusual. The picture is very sharp.
Is that bridge on Batten Kill Stream in Bennington County?
Thanks for sharing and answering my question.
Serge

Hello Tom,
The big old tree fits the bridge and makeds a great framing for this fine construction!
The shining red colour makes the bridge really stand out in the snowy winter landscape...
Good point of view and fine dynamics in the composition!
Greetings,
Pablo -
