This is a gorgeous view my dear Tricia! Excellent compositin, the use of the rule of thirds is perfect here!
A fine posting my dear!

Hello Tricia,
Interesting combination between title and image. Your photo indeed tends to express the feeling one can have while travelling such wide and unbuilt areas. But still I feel there is some need for more (natural) foreground (not the black frame). That would give us a real feeling of being IN the landscape... Now, we're too much looking at a photo.
Oh yes: did I already say that I like the colours and the contrasts?
Just my personal opinion, of course. So, feel free to (dis)agree ;o).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Really superb capture and I must say Erik Sven raises a very good issue with his workshop. I hadn't really thought about that with landscape shots before, but it does make a difference.
YOurs is still super. your usual fine standards -- great colours, fine PoV and composition - excellent details (no fuzziness here now)

WOW, what a view
Good capture of this landscape.
As for a panorama, better if you use a tripod.
Easier to match the images during shoot and later on when stitching them.

This is lovley, Tricia. I like the tones and POV very much. The clouds with their layers are just perfect. Very sharp and perfectly coloured. I really like this.
Warm Regards

Hi Tricia,
Love those endless Pines in Maine! I did a workshop myself as with this new puppy I haven't had much time for photo taking :o(
Great shot!

Hello Tricia,
A beautiful landscape!
I'm beginning to learn what Donna Rasmussen means when she says my place is much like Northeast US...
A well composerd presentation with fine emphasis to the great sky!

Hi Tricia,
Great winter image, the greens and blues blend nicely. Lovely unspoiled landscape. The sky is very appealing.

Hi Tricia,
This looks like a painting done in watercolours. Lovely scene, great horizontal layering of the trees and the clouds. Well done.
