Hi Tom,

You sure know how to promote Maine.
Talking about gold, are the trees already colouring in shades of reds and gold in September?
Lovely how the rays of light penetrate the cloud cover.
The red golden colour tones are marvellous.

The golds and grays plus the rays of light are particularly spectacular in this posting. Quite a location in September, could leave a tripod on location permanently.

This is a great composition, showing the drama of nature well!
The last rays from the setting sun plays with the fine veil of clouds, and the silhouetted island creates depth in the image...
