[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the gorgeous and beautiful Eastern Redbud. While technically not 'red' it is more of a red/pink. This is about as close to the real color as it gets. There seems to be several different varieties as some look very pale pink while others are 'really close' to red. This may perhaps be due to soil differences as well. This was taken spring last year and I thought it came out very nice. I could go shoot them again this spring but why? I've got several choice photos and it's time to find another species to shoot. I put this in the repetition because the flowers are mostly identical, I'm repeating a different view of the same flower and they have the same wonderful beauty of God each and every spring! The close-ups really show the beauty of this flower that you don't see until you get out of the car and LOOK at them wonderingly. Shot with the simple stock lens which does a VERY nice job on these.
