Grandfather Mountain, located in Linville, North Carolina, creates a sense of wonder. The base rock that pokes through to form cliffs and crags is over a billion years old. Grandfather never fails to stir the soul with its boulder-strewn trails, mile-high bridge, ancient black cliffs, rare Azalea’s and 66 other endangered species - this is (name unknown) one of them.

A lovely flower! A bit soft but the colour is beautiful!
TFS and also for your comment onmy Lachenalia flower. This one reminds me of the Lachenalias that are indigenous to our country.
