Hear us roar

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| I spent a nice four day weekend on the central coast of California passing through Santa Cruz, Monterey, anb Big Sur on my way to Los Osos. One of my favorite spots to stop is the elephant seal rookery off Highway 1 just north of San Simeon. There are appoximately 15,000 seals inhabiting this part of the coast. Getting a good view of the seals is as easy as a 2 minute walk to various viewings spots. These seals are amazing creatures. |

Ahhhh you should be loaded with future posting after that trip. Good catch of the two seals talking to one an other while the rest of the herd take it easy. Good POV.
Dad
Love the red color inside their mouth that you have captured here Mike. The blueish gray tones of their coat, very sharp and detailed shot.
Excellent quality. Great freeze of the moment.
Good catch!

Hi Mike,
Great shot. Kind of like an "American Idol" duet :-)
Looks like it's their job to sing lullabye's for the rest of the herd.
Nice composition. Good exposure work on what appears to be pretty harsh lighting.
