Better in Blossom
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This spring offering is the third installment in my seasonal series on this Appleton home, joining the earlier uploads of Better Left Unraked and Better Left Unshoveled.
This time the focus is on the riotous burst of color after the long, cold months and the short time of budding. There was a breeze this day, and you can see the petals falling -- a silent testament to how quickly this stage, too, will give way to the next.
The tree in the upper right is the same that was rich in autumn leaves and a coating of snow in the other two versions.
PP consisted of sharpening and a curve adjustment in Digital Photo Professional, then sizing and a final light-and-shadows sharpening in The Gimp. |
