[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Bay To Breakers began as a race in San Francisco. At a distance of 12km it traversed from one end of the city on the east side to the pacific ocean on the west. The event grew and took on a special significance in the city. There are still serious runners who compete but this year there were 60,000 other people who dressed in costumes, drank beer, paraded nude or in whatever state of undress they thought appropriate. This was a peaceful celebration where everyone went to have fun. People of all ages walked, waved and had a great time.

Roger Hi:
Very interesting event. As an old runner many suggested that we should go out and run that event but we never did, sounds like we should have. Thanks for the image.

Hi Roger.Interesting race with much old people.
Big regards, Bosko.

This is defenitely good shoot. The eyes are caught first by the old man in the right corner and than look is driven to the perspective... Great shot with a very good DOF.
TFS,
Siarhei

Some interesting multiple portrait here.
Front very sharp, back with DOF but still we can see and recognize ppls face expressions.

There's something unique with that man in the front...makes him look the leader here.

Congrats
Tom

Hello Roger.
This is very good picture with a lot of interesting faces. I like the DOF which brings our attention to the old man on the first plan still showing details of the the crowd in the b/g.

HI Roger
Getting all these people in one shot is quite an accomplishment. Love how the focus was placed on the old gentleman who seems to be wearing some kind of medal.
Good shot and TFS

WOW!! This is a huge amount of people in one picture...there should be a prize for this :) This sounds (and looks) to be a really great time! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Roger,

Superb shot Roger. Best composition you have chosen. Nice details on the old man face. Beautiful depth of field here. Live colors. Everything is taken good. TFS!

Regards,
Masroor

Hi dear friend,
love the depth of field in this one.
Nicely seen and presented!
Best wishes,
Ioana

This is a fantastic shot. The broad context of the event and its many costumes and characters is then brought down to one individual story; the man, perfectly placed at the lower right, making his own personal toil.
You should really be proud of this one.
