Here is my second offering from Montana De Oro State Park. Over the Memorial day weekend I spent time in Central California near Los Osos and Morro Bay. Some of the big draws in this region are the numerous parks and beaches. In my opinion, Montana De Oro is the king. Beautiful geology, pounding waves, and flowers covering every shade of yellow and orange dominate this landscape in the spring time.
On the distant bluff stands another photographer who had found a pretty nice spot for herself.
PP: Processed from RAW in Capture NX. Reduced saturation, levels, re-size for TL, USM. |

Mike,
What textures you have presented here.....my oh my!
The 1/250th of a second was a perfect choice, it made the water smooth yet still with enough texture in it that it keeps it realistic looking.
Good saturation levels and finely written notes. The three rock formations coming in from the right is perfect for the composition.
Fine work,
Scott

Hellooooooo Mike
Beautiful morning for pic here and interesting "split" textures on the water. The Tokina strikes again on the FG clarity and beautiful saturation. Like the multiple fingers projected into the ocean.
Dad
Wooooooooooooowww!! Very very wonderful! Great place, beautiful colors, nice sharpness and waves motion.
