This is the bride and I had a heck of a time with the "colors" that this church decided to use. The walls were a yellow pine...the glass in the church was a yellow tint (ewwww!) I'm going to have to really work on the pictures to get that yellow out of there.

So I did alot to this shot, careful to watch out for OE because of the white dress, and also careful about color. She was basically a yellow when I started out with the RAW file.

I spent most of yesterday just moping around. I was exhausted, headache (I was so bad, I had a piece of wedding cake, hince the headache). Hope you all had a great weekend!
B-)

Hi Linda,
very nice portrait of a apparently shy bride *s* I like the pose. Most of all I like the contrasing lights and shadows. There's a weakening spot on this shot - the brown frame on the right. It disturbs a lot breaking these deep contrasing areas. I made a workshop showing my point of wiev. I hope you don't mind

Marek

Hi Linda,
I like the side lighting effect here. The pose and expression of the bride is appealing. You did a very good RAW conversion, bringing up details and nice colors. Thanks for sharing your great work of the wedding assignment here.
Regards,
Ramdan

A very emotional shot here linda.

The lighting was well done, despite the building and scenery being difficult.

One thing people often forget is your light is going to reflect the color of your walls. If you have yellow walls, expect yellow light!

Well done, TFS

Hi Linda

A nice flattering softness in this superb wedding photo of the bride. Good color & sidelighting. It rained here all weekend so I stayed home. And typhoon 'Fengshen' is heading this way on Friday :-(. Tfs!

Hi Linda, beautiful capture, great expression colors and details

A very beautiful bride! I like the lighting and shadows. Her flowers are very pretty and I love her dress!! Hope you start feeling better.

Wonderful special and tender moment captured Linda.
I love the expressive light and dark areas here.
Great resolution and color.
Well done.

Hi Linda,
Love the dreamy expression on the lovely bride's face. The white dress and vivid red roses contrast nicely in this wonderful lighting.

Hello Linda...
Her dress is really beautiful!I really love who you have captured all the tiny details in the silk and lace!
I only wish she did not have any jewelry on her left arm and finger.. but hey who is anyone to tell THE bride what to do on HER DAY! :)

Sugar high ... ouch! Hope you are doing better:)

Tricia

Nice light Linda, a wee bit dark perhaps. Well composed and good colour. A workshop if I may going a bit further than Marek did.
David

i don't know how to comment wedding shot.. but i do like the half light shown here on her face, Linda.. she is wearing a simple wedding dress.. most of the brides i saw here wore less than this mostly in sleeveless.. :)

well done. love the composition but not so on the wood frame? tfs..

regards, terry

Hi Linda,
There's much to say what's not good in this picture, but I won't do :-)
I tell you what I like: the misterious pose, the low brightness, the low contrast; it all makes it a special picture of this bride. Well done my Cowgirl :-)
Hans

Perfect roses. Very nice composition.
Perfect shadow. Well done.

I think it's well-taken, Linda, in essence. I find that there's too much shadowing of her face and she kind of gets lost. The rest is great and you did good at getting the 'yellow' out. TFS

Hi Linda!

A bit dark, but that also creates a nice mood in this photograph.

Have a good weekend,
Dennis
