When the wedding let out we had one heck of a storm hit, complete with funnel clouds etc.

The rain and drama lingered on until the rain moved east and south, leaving the western sun a peek into all of it! I spent quite a bit of time outside with the bride and groom as the lighting was heavenly! But soon the sun dropped low and it was time to get back in. The lightening was amazing as it crawled across the sky!

This was taken around 8PM and alot of folks went outside to see the drama. We also had a rainbow in the east that was so nice, a few of the pics of the wedding party had rainbows in them.
**Say a prayer or two for me today, I'm headed back to the doctor to find out why I'm having chest pains again! Not good! Praying for it to just be stress!
Hope you all have a great day!
Linda

Hi Linda

Re the storm, I can just hear it now: 'Were not in Houston anymore, Toto'. Good sunset colours & nice reflections in the wet pavement. Excellent sharpness & framing. Tfs!

Good Morning Linda
I hope you are correct it its nothing.. But I will be put an extra pray up for you today.. Good luck at the Doctors.

How lucky to have wedding photos with rainbows in them. Not so much about the funnel clouds!

Very nice storm shot! I really like the break in the clouds... the light is amazing

Take care and good luck

Tricia

Expert composition here Linda.
Love the orange glow everywhere, and the sense of the storm nearby.
Great mood and ambient elements.
Very neat shot.

Hi Linda,

This is a great shot with all the repetitive elements of the windows, posts, etc... In a way it's an eerie shot with the coloring of the sky. Only in Texas can you really see sky!!

I'll keep you in my thoughts today.

Lisa

Hi Linda,
the colour and mood are interesting. The lines on the left, leading in also add some very good interest so do the subtle reflections in the ground.
For a lowlight capture, personally I'm feeling the exposure could have been 1 or 2 stops up - except of course a slightly under-exposed look was your initial intention.

Best regards, Daniel

PS: I do earnestly pray you'll be alright Linda.
Be blessed :-)

Hi LInda

A wonderful compo here, good study of lines and light with amazing colour and detail

TFS regards Helen

Hi Linda
I am happy for you that the nature had given you a rainbow as a great bonus to enhance its beautiful glowing colors of sunset. That sounds so good, especially when it happens while you are doing the wedding job - you had a real big smile for it, didn't you? And so did the wedding couple, I guess.

Nice perspective view with golden hues of sunset. Beautiful capture, as you always do.

Have a great day to you too,
Ramdan.

You are doing too much slow down! I love the colours in the shot Linda. Excellent perspectives and very good detail. TFS,
David

This is kind of funny, but since you posted your rainy New York shots I have raced around in the rain more times than I can count, but I just DO NOT have good results. This is another beauty which encourages me to try again :) Thanks!!

Hello Linda,
Great shot with great tones yet again! Love the reflection of the water on the ground and interesting composition with the receding lighting. Very interesting image, congrats!
