[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Every Father's Day weekend there is a Fly-In at the Columbia, CA airport. The Fly-In involves all kinds of activities including lots of old planes on display. These two restored by-planes were enjoying the morning sun. World War II era military planes were in attendance as well - I'll post some of those in the next few days.

Been really busy combined with computer problem has kept me on the TL sidelines for the last two weeks. Glad to be back.

Hi Daniel! Excellent shot, love the yellow in this! Good color saturation and a really cool subject matter! I love stuff like this! MORE!!

Hi Daniel,
A great close up with nice details and vivid colours. Altogether well composed, I would only have shown the whole tire of the rear plane and the man inspecting (I think) the aircraft. Anyway still a fine posting Daniel!

Hello Daniel!

Sriking colors of these old biplanes. Sweet memories. In High school we did a 1:1 replica of the yellow one. All made of cardboard ( carton ). Believe it or not it was very solid and spectacular! We displayed it at the local shopping mall for a few weeks. Only sad part , because of space availability, we had to crop the wings.....

Lovely composition and great details of the engine and propeller.
Thanks for the memories brought back to me.

Have a great weekend!
Robert

PS. Off on vacation tomorrow. Heading to Gaspesia with Martine to visit Annie ( Beger ). (^_^).

Different POV possibly? The angle on both birds seems awkward. Flying mag has many good flight line shots.

Suggestion get the cam facing 90 degrees to both PT-13s(I believe then lower yourself bend keeing a perpindicular view point and you get both airplanes and the line the two make)

another way would have been lying donw in front them looking back and up their differnt colors creating the bottom of triangle

Hi Dan
Nice shot of this engine, excellent details and clarity, brilliant color, do you think its need highe F.stop? Well done.
Regards, Alireza.

Hi Dan,

Good composition here and those colours are contrasting nicely with each other. Do I see one leaving in the BG? Lucky for me I love old planes and old cars - makes trips with the boys more fun.
Hope your computer does not give you any more problems.
TFS this attractive picture,

Els
