Another shot from last years trip to Cat Spring and believe me, these poor guys were dying when this shot was made! It was already 95 and they were sitting under a metal awning and the heat was just unreal, poor fellas!
But their music was heavenly and they had big fans blowing across them to help with the heat!
Thanks everyone for the well wishes for my surgery tomorrow.
Shelby came back into town and that was unexpected and we sat up until LATE last night watching YouTube and laughing. We watched Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Janis Joplin, Judy Garland, Ethel Merman, The Muppets, Comedy Stuff...Shelby is a huge fan of old musical films. We just had a great time!
B-)

Hi Linda

Good use of the principle of 3, & the diagonal axis of the players trumpets, adds dynamism. Tfs!

Hi Linda,
My best wishes and prayer to you on your med procedure. These fellows look intense, well framed with good tech details. Greetings! Danilo

Like Boomcat, I got the impression that you were having a test not a surgery. "May God hold you in the palm of his hand." This is more important than a picture.

Dan

Another great slice of life shot Linda!
What's more it's musical which I love. Great POV.
and excellent natural light and color.
Sending you positive vibes and well wishes Linda.
Good luck tomorrow.

Hello, My Friend,

Music to my ears! Three makes a perfect composition ... and they're probably playing a perfect composition!
The vignetting puts them in the spotlight!

My thoughts will be with you tomorrow!
Good luck!
Bev :-)

The vignetting adds such a wonderful touch to this -- makes it feel terrifically old-fashioned

Hi Linda,
This is a great summer image with the musicians in their crisp white shirts and the contrasting shinny gold trombones wipping up some traditional American summer cheer.
Lovely colors and details to this charmer.
Regards, Tom

The vignette treatment worked well here Linda and evened out the whites somewhat. Well composed with good colour and softer detail. TFS,
David
