[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yes, Life is like a bowl of cherries.... sometimes sweet, other times sour. We get through all of those times.
Nice summer fruit spilled out of their bowl.

I adjusted lighting with gamma to bring out the beautiful red of the cherries as in the original it was a little "flat". Added contrast, resized and sharpened.

Good lighting, very interesting photo Lisa. Pushing the gamma and contrast has made a novel effect as thegraduate has pointed out..

Hi, Lisa -
Striking image with amazing reds and highlights on the surface of the cherries. There is an unusual quality to the shadows that look as thought they have layers of ever-darker tones toward their centers; were you going for that? It looks cool. Nice tasty image.

Extremely sharp deatils of the fruit and above all the shades.

so this is what you mean, to me its almost perfect lisa, i really like it maybe i have just seen this shot earlier i would have tried doing one and maybe won a higher place last club meeting, congrats for this beautifully done still life
