[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My wife's Clematis, which has lost its petals, catches the afternoon light in this macro shot. With the American 4th of July fast approaching I am reminded of fire works the way the light hit the ends of the "things". (What ever they are called, LOL.)

Love pictures like this my husband calls me crazy when I take a flower picture 'past its prime' but they look just as beautiful to me then as when in full bloom. Love the pov and great details. TFS

Hi Daniel,
I like the way you captured the light glowing off this aged flower. The dark blurred BG is nice and the composition is very good.
Regards,
Kevin

Hello Daniel
Oh that must be very small... I really like the light and how you captured the end of the cycle!

Still beautiful, even without its petals! The light is superb, highlighting the tips of the pistils or stamens or whatever they are:) I also like the bright green working to dark green at the center of the flower head. Great composition, DOF, contrasts, and details, right down to the fuzzy stem and its slight crook.

Great shot, Daniel! Maybe just a bit too soft ;)

Hi Dan,
I really like the "fireworks" look, as you mentioned.
