Hi Roger - not to your usual high standard this one 'cos the girls eyes are very definitely out of focus (along with nose and teeth), the point of focus is her hair to the right side of her head. If the eyes were sharp with the narrow DOF you've used this would be a really nice shot, especially with that smile!

Hi Roger,

Nice photo of the girl. I would like to see a little more sharpness, but nonetheless, it shows such a friendly expression and tells a story about her. The bike hat lets us know a little of her hobbies and outdoor personality. She looks like she has a fun disposition.

Nice photo Roger, not sure I agree with posting it without the lady's permission. Even today, there are people who take out their personal agendas on others and this really kinda "outs" this girl and maybe she doesn't want to be outed. If you got her permission then that's great. I have many gay friends and they stay pretty quiet about it. Even though we are in 2008, there are still people out there who are mean! But it's a nice quality photo!

Very nicely captured shot here Roger. If I was going to be super super picky I'd say that her right eye (our left) is not quite as sharp as her left; it's an aperture thing I guess, but seriously street photography is tough and my attempts lately have almost never been successful - and certainly never as good as this - so you have my total admiration. Well done.
