Very dramatic capture Shelby. Great details in the clouds, with a forbidding feel. Good composition.

Hi Shelby, what an awesome sky!! Wonderful cloud formations and it looks so heavy and moody.
Well composed positioning the church spire in just the right place
Well done
Janice

Hello Shelby!

Spectacular sky. Some superstitious people would think , the Gods were against the wedding (^_^). But au contraire , others say , when it is raining on wedding day , it is a positive sign, and good luck.

So you choose the one that suits you (^_^). Minimalist composition working well. I find the image a bit too noisy. problaby because your increased dark tones.

I tried a little workshop . I hope you won't mind , and find it useful.

Cheers!
Robert

Hi Shelby - well captured photo of a very dramatic cloud formation... Good strong sky, well composed.. Only downside is that it's a bit grainy, and there's a lassoo line running down the right side of the steeple. I have the same problem with some of my pics and haven't figured out how to use the de-fringe tool properly yet.

Nice one though
David

I totally missed this POV because my eyes were GLUED to the funnel cloud in the other direction! But you saw it and this is an excellent shot, wonderful details, intense sky! I'm glad you got the shot! I"m impressed with the new camera!

Hi Shelby,
There's a peaceful feeling looking at that white church top against that scary dark sky, it's like a sense of protection.
Wonderful capture, very well done
Liz

Well composed Shelby with good colour and an eerie light created by the clouds. Noise removal (using Paint Shop Pro) strength 40, blend 70 would have cleared the noise in the clouds.
