Hello, I am just dropping in ....

The balloons were flying again over the weekend. There was a competition where it was required to drop a marker on the bulls eye. The only way to be low enough to accomplish that is to barely scrape over the roof tops of the complex where I live.
In my gallery is a shot of a balloon in relation to the rooftops.
This shot gives a good picture of the motor that burns the propane.
I'm thinking these Albuquerque pilots are very skilled.
My little point and shoot is not up to long focus jobs, so I really don't have the desired detail on the passengers. |

Funny you should post this -- I did a similar posting last week :)
I love the tight crop and the PoV here. I think I'd have liked a cooler tint to the sky (through PP work) and I'll do a quick workshop to show you what I mean.
Super capture of the passengers

Hi Joni,
I like this nice tight crop. You have captured the people so well. The pilots of this balloon must have been very skilled to be able to have skimmed over the roof tops with out crashing as its a real skill to fly a balloon you only have the gas burner to help lift you and a flap at the top of the balloon that is controlled by a cord which will open when pulled to release some of the air to let it drop.
Good capture.

Hello Joni. Excellent framing of the balloon in flight. Sharp detail against the saturated blue background. I like it and thanks for sharing. Don't forget to have fun in British weather. Best regards. Jusni
Have a good trip
Good job
Thanks
