[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Got up early and prowled around the yard trying to catch the sense and feel of early summer mornings.
I've got, I think, a couple representative ones but this one felt a lot like what I was seeing without the lens.
The sun is being filtered through some various trees and bushes until it finally lights up some of this beach grass. It's a bit humid, there's a concept for an island in Summer (Long Island, New York) and the dew, both from nature and more likely the early AM sprinkler run, is still slightly on the grass.
Shot in RAW, aperture pref to control depth. In PS@ cropped the bottom a bit for better thirds, reset levels a bit, a little USM set to improve tonal range and slight sharpening. Converted to jpeg, bordered, titled and resized for TL.
Now to finish my coffee.. ;0)

Hello,

génial ces herbe avec leurs goutte d'eau qui ressortent de la lumière, très belle image et ensemble.

Bravo et amitiés

Nicou

It's so nice outside here today, cool..... dry, for once! Houston is normally a swamp! But the higher temps bring dryer air! I swap out! Love this, excellent DOF, it's all about light isn't it! The light makes this work well! Try not to do any jumping in your flip flops today!
B-)

Very lovely light in this and the shallow dof gives a whole different feeling

Excellent use of the light Wilt. A seemingly confusing image until one bothers to look forthe detail. Good DOF and colour,
David

I don't know about this one, Wilt... as we say in Dutch, the flag (your title) doesn't cover the cargo (the contents of the shot). I was expecting some sharp droplets here, but my eye doesn't find a point to rest on, to look close in this picture...
What I do like are the light in the shot, and the tranquil backdrop which has some nicely coloured spots.
