[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is for Lisa who posted a very nice LUSH green photo of Georgia yesterday. Houston is literally on a dry line. You can drive 30 miles west to prairies, or 30 miles East to Swamp! I live on the west side!
This is my niece Brooke who loves to play in water. We were up at the lake and it rain was pouring off the awning and of course she had to be "in it".

Everytime I see pics from Lisa, or from anyone here in south I am reminded once again why I love it here! If you've never seen the movie "The Secrets of the YAYA Sisterhood" it's definately a MUST for anyone who wants to know what the deep south of the USA is. And so now I have dubbed myself "Queen of the Dragonflies"!
Hope you all have a great day!
Linda

The light here is super – even and gentle. What attracts me is the placement of your subject: lots of space in front of her and neatly placed in the power point

WOW! Would you look at those curls! This is sweet how she's holding her hands out to the rain, and yes, it's VERY green! Have a great day Linda. Thanks!

Fabulous green color and the splash of orange from Brooke's dress a great combination.
Expertly placed in the frame of course.
I like how you caught her with her hnads out trying to catch some rain.
Great shot Linda!

Hi Linda

Well framed, placing the main subject off center, with excellent sharpness and color contrasts. Congratulations!

Hi Linda,

Thank you so much! This is just beautiful with all of the brilliant green colors. ...and sweet little Brooke looks so cute in her bright, spring dress, little shoes, and curly hair. She's the perfect addition to the scene. Childhood pleasures of holding out hands in the rain.

thanks again.... Lisa

p.s. I've not seen "The Secrets of the yaya Sisterhood"... I bes' git out and rent it!

hi linda, i am glad you are happy and proud of where you live, this is important in life, a wonderful pic here with excellent colors, details and composition, very nice indeed, might have to rent that movie too! might be a chick flick but my wife will probably love it!

Im afraid texas lush dosent quite compare to georgia lush. Sorry Linda, but im from Georgia so im a bit biased towards it!

A very cute scene here though.

Hi Linda,

My favourite colour, your little niece looks a little cutie, is she releasing one of your captive dragonflies?. Hope you are feeling better.

Douglas

Hi Linda,

Unusual presentation but I like the composition . . showing what she sees and she does . .
Seems the weather is nice here . . still some water on the lake . .
Happy day my dear friend

Tfs,
TJutjut

My favourite head of hair only I can't see the red :(. Nicely composed Linda with good colour and detail regardless of the weather.
