A rose but a rather beautiful one. This was taken in the Portland Oregon Rose test gardens.
This rose is one of the hybrid ones being tested in this garden.
I took the picture on full automatic macro setting with my Canon 20D. It was an experiment because so far, I have not used this feature on my 20D. I normally use the AV setting so that I can set my f stops and other settings manually. But I found that the preprogramed macro setting does far more than I do with most of my manual settings on AV.
