Hi Katy,

It's a sharp image of the petals . . You may use fill flash to brighten the core of this flower . . to compensate strong light from the left . .
Nice DoF . . it makes the petals stand out from blurred BG . .

This composition works very well. I'm sort of tired of flowers and cats photos at TL and refrain to comment it, but this one is different.
The colors are nice against the blurried backgorund. The dark flowers center also is a nice cintrast with the rest of the picture.
