Sunrise at Dead Horse State Park

Hi all
Thought I'd post a shot from my 7 week road trip. I just recently visited Dead Horse State Park near Moab, Utah. This park doesn't get as much notoriety as its neigbors Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park, but it does have one of the finest views in all of southern Utah. From the viewpoint your eyes are able to feast on canyons as far as eye can see with a close up view of the Colorado river meandering through it all.
It's been a long time since a sunrise stunned me as much as this one did. If you are ever in the area this is a must stop sunrise location. |

I see why you were so impressed with this view point. Goes on for ever and then some. We found some curls in the Colorado on our journey through the are but nothing with this kind of view.

An impressive scene Mike and well captured. Lovely tones and textures in the rocks, good light and natural looking colours.
