Hi Lisa - i'm really interested in this shot - there is a great depth of field despite the f3.2...it looks deeper than that, the sharpness on the lead muffin is especially strong. And assume you must have used a tripod?

I'd almost be tempted to crop up a bit from the bottom, lose the spare bit of cooling tray and concentrate more on the muffins themselves. I don't often critique food shots, but i like this one.

I like this a lot Lisa, those muffins look tasty!
I also really like the cooling rack and how much of it there is because it adds this interesting element of lines and is a good
contrasting texture to the muffins.

The "lead muffin" is SO sharp it jumps off the page here, even compressed for TL--I can only imagine how intense the original must be. :)
The light and color is great here, gives real life to the muffins and does the DoF--particularly, as Richard noted as well, at f/3.2.
I agree also with Richard on the slight bottom up crop, but that's minor, this is a stellar picture.
I'm hungry now.....:o)

The front muffin is soo sharp it could cut the rest LOL, I do agree with the others about the crop, the colours are good and I am just thinking how well they would go with proper Devon clotted cream.

Mmm... I suspect you are a bit of a sadist, Lisa... making me want to devour one of those right now! I'll have to settle for a cold raisin cake instead ☺^☺.
Nice light here, good details, and I like the "underground" which contrasts nicely with the muffins.
There's a bit of a spot in the tr 3x3 starting in the left corner, you might have cloned that out before attacking your Italian course LOL.
