[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Quickly captured this shot of the legendary Big Daddy Don Garlits at the Gatornationals in Gainsville Florida. Tricky to get the shot because someone was always walking into the frame.

My focus could have been a little better and perhaps if I did some PP the DOF could be reduced to draw attention to Don Garlits.

Could you please explain who Don Garlitz is? Thanks.

When I googled "Don Garlits" this is what i came up with.
The name “Big Daddy” Don Garlits is synonymous with Drag Racing. In fact, Garlits has been dubbed the “King of the Dragsters,” and could be considered the patriarch of Top Fuel Drag Racing.
I hope the info helped you Traveller, I had no idea who this guy was

Excelent shot of Big Daddy. You did him proud with this shot.
I did a workshop for you to help out what you may have been looking for. Hope you don't mind.

nice shot of "Big Daddy." Boy, that name brings back memories -- hadn't thought of Garlits in years -- good to see he's still kickin'! Thanks for posting it. Fuji-mon's ws put Big Daddy in the spotlight. I like your original too, probably would have got rid of the half-face on the left, though. nice shot
